All Hallow’s Eve- the night the veil between worlds is the thinest….
Happy Halloween!
My mom passed away a few months ago and I miss her a lot. Every day I wonder how she’s doing on the other side. I do believe that there is a consciousness that is greater than our physical experience and that this is where our real selves, our consciousness returns when we leave our physical bodies behind.
Long before my mom passed away I became interested in the subject of what happens after we die. About 15 years ago I was saved from certain death by a force I cannot explain and all I can say is that it must not have been my time to die. Since that experience, which totally defies any explanation I could come up with other than that someone up there was watching out for me, I’ve researched this subject a long time and I’ve listened to a lot of different people’s ideas about the afterlife. Of course nothing can be proven and there are many different ideas, but the other day I heard a great interview on www.coastotcoastam.com with George Noory and Dr. Melvin Morse which I think is special.
Dr. Morse is a physician who has personally revived many children who have been clinically dead for several seconds and longer. In the course of his work he was stunned to hear the first hand reports of the children’s experiences of still being consciously aware when physically they had no brain activity. Yet they were able to relate to him actions that he and others had taken in trying to save them while they had absolutely no brain activity at all. This started him on a long journey of investigation into how such a thing could be possible, because it totally defied everything he had been taught in medical school.
The kids told him how they were drawn out of their bodies, had an experience of meeting a light that spoke to them, and how they were drawn back to their physical body when being revived. Because they were children and didn’t really have expectations or religious ideas that filtered their experiences, the things they said were quite refreshing and honest.
The original interview is 2 hours long and if you didn’t hear it live in September you’ll have to subscribe to coast to coast to hear it in the archive section. However, I think it is appropriate to listen to at this time of year when we celebrate the Day of the Dead so I’ve posted an edited version here for you. It is heavily edited down to about 50 minutes of good stuff. I hope you will find it as special as I did.
